Kim Heathcott, Owner/CEO
Ms. Heathcott holds an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Economics, with a minor in Business Administration. Additionally, she earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University through its Executive MBA program as the youngest applicant ever accepted in its prestigious top-tier business executive program.

Ms. Heathcott has an 18-year financial background in corporate and asset-based lending, with an emphasis on fraud auditing and control investigations. Before founding clarion security, Ms. Heathcott opened a Memphis satellite stand-alone office for The CIT Group and developed more than $75 million in new business in five years with no prior name recognition in the Mid-South area before opening the office.

In June of 2013 Ms. Heathcott was named President of the Memphis Chapter of The National Association of Woman Owned Business.

In July of 2013 Ms. Heathcott was named a "Superwoman in Business" by Memphis Business Journal.


Larry Heathcott, President, spearheads sales growth and vision for the business. Mr. Heathcott attended both the University of Memphis and finished at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Mr. Heathcott’s started his career with Automatic Data Processing in Memphis (1990-1997). He was the top producer in the U.S. for 4 of his last 7 years with the company as the Major Accounts District Manager.

Mr. Heathcott was invited to join Morgan Keegan as the Sr. Vice President of institutional fixed income (1997-2005). He was a top 20 producer there with the responsibility of growing new areas for the firm that included ME, VT, NH,RI, CT, WY, MT, ID, ND, SD, and Hawaii.

In 2005, Mr. Heathcott invested in a small Traditional security company, Realizing his passion for security and the opportunity for a progressive provider in a traditional business, he joined Clarion Security in 2011.

One of Memphis' most successful female CEOs endorses Mentoring Monday (Memphis Business Journal)

Kim Heathcott is the president of the National Association of Women Business Owners Memphis chapter and the CEO of Clarion Security, Memphis' largest woman-owned business. Heathcott is joining more than 40 women business leaders for Memphis Business Journal's Bizwomen Mentoring Monday. The event will offer attendees the opportunity to choose from the mentors for one-on-one coaching sessions and will take place the morning of March 30 at Christian Brothers University's Canale Arena.
